“National Care Group (NCG) is delighted to be sponsoring the award for “Support Workers from the independent sector” as part of the 2018 National Learning Disabilities Awards. As an independent provider of care, we recognise not only the value these people provide but also the challenges they face. We are proud to celebrate the compassion, skill and remarkable efforts of support workers across the country.

Support workers inspire people on a daily basis. They support people to enjoy happy, fulfilling lives and help them to live as independently as possible in safe and supportive environments. Their roles are often demanding and at times they do not receive the recognition they deserve even when its most warranted. These awards duly recognise the hard work, resilience and patience of support workers and commend their tireless efforts to enhance the quality of life of some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

Working with carers all across the country, NCG has seen first-hand the passion, dedication and energy they bring to the role on a daily basis. As a company, National Care Group work hard to reward our care teams and deliver day-to-day support so that they can continue to deliver excellent levels of care to the people we support. Having the opportunity to sponsor these awards has reminded us of the wonderful work they do and of the support they merit.

Working 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, in challenging and taxing environments, we believe that support workers deserve both our recognition and our gratitude. NCG would like to say a huge thank you to all the support workers across the country – we feel extremely privileged to work with such wonderful individuals who work tirelessly to help others and have a genuine and lasting impact on the communities in which we live.”
