Greg Lapham, CEO, Precious Homes

The National Learning Disability and Autism Awards celebrate excellence and pay tribute to those supporting and caring for people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum condition, which is why we are proud to be one of this year’s sponsors. As an independent social care provider we believe it is vital to support and celebrate talent across the sector – recognising all the amazing work our health and social care colleagues do day in and day out.

Precious Homes are a specialist community care provider supporting adults with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum condition, Acquired Brain Injuries, mental health needs, behaviours that may be described as challenging and other complex needs to increase their skills and independence in the community. Contracted with a range of Local Authority and CCG partners, our support teams work across London, Birmingham, Hertfordshire, Central Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes and Devon. Support is delivered within a range of residential provision and supported living services, as well as in an outreach capacity, supporting people in their own homes and to access the community.

We have had many team members shortlisted for and also winning these prestigious awards- recognising those who have gone above and beyond in all aspects of their roles at Precious Homes. Each year we have met some amazing people and have heard wonderful examples of best practice in the sector – our sponsorship is just one small way of giving back to the people who give so much of their lives.
